Location:  YMCA Child Care at Kelowna Secondary School

Schedule: Full Time

Compensation: $19.13 to 20.41/hr to start depending upon experience plus a progressive step scale

  • Establish and maintain positive daily communication and interaction with families, providing quality child care, excellent service to families, and building meaningful relationships
  • Ensure all safety and supervision standards and implement and maintain according to licensing and YMCA requirements
  • Enthusiastic and positive nature


  • Must have current BC license to practice ECE-IT
  • Must have current First Aid Certification
  • Successful candidates are required to provide three references two must be professional in nature (i.e. employer, supervisor, teacher, coach or colleague)
  • Successful candidates are required to provide a current and satisfactory Criminal Record Check/Vulnerable Sector Search issued no later than six months preceding start date. The YMCA will provide applicable instructions and paperwork
